Fellow classmates of the Case Class of 1970,

The Reunion Committee has an update on the reunion plans!  Here are some highlights:

REUNION NEWS:

Please help us with planning by updating your info on the “Attending Reunion” survey.

With just six months to go before the reunion, we are entering a busy time for the reunion committee.  One of the things we need to do is line up people willing to lend a hand to make this a successful event!

Please look at the list below to see if there is an area where you could help out.  If you can, send an email to denise.anastasio@gmail.com , call her at 262-498-2298 or use the Contact Us button on the case70.com website.

• Friday evening event Monument Square/The Maple Table – Jean Fergus Veltman chairperson. We need a few people to work at a check-in table to get people their name-tags and play host. We don’t want anyone to be at the table all evening so if we can get several volunteers it will make the table shifts short! 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
• Saturday School Tours (10:00 am- noon) – Need chairperson.  In addition to a chairperson who will coordinate with Case and schedule the tours, we will also need 1-2 other people to go along on each tour in case alumni have questions about the events of the reunion.
• Saturday evening at Roma Lodge – Terry Scott George and Pat Fellner. We need a few people to work at a check-in table to get people their name-tags and play host. Doors open at 5 pm so you would need to be there by 4:30.
• Decorations – Sheila Yorgan Anderson chairperson.  We would like decorations for the tables, particularly Saturday evening dinner.  A minimal budget will be available so we need volunteers who are creative and thrifty!
• Registration/Treasurer – Need chairperson.  We need someone who will maintain the list of people registered and keep track of the registration fees.  Online registration will make this less work than in the past, but we will need to manually enter those who register by mail.
• Door Prizes – Need chairperson.  Would anyone like to organize a door prize plan? This isn’t strictly necessary but if someone has the interest it would be nice.
• Program Saturday evening – Kevin Wentzel has agreed to emcee, but we need some ideas for what to include in the program.  Most grandchildren award?  Who has come the farthest award? Favorite teacher contest? Can you help plan the program?
• Entertainment Saturday evening – Rich Hinderholtz has agreed to DJ, but it would nice to have some other entertainment, including skits  Theatre and Music folks, are you there?
• Reunion booklet – Denise A and Pat Kissinger -we can use help collecting and typing up info from classmates.  Also we could use someone to create the front cover!

IMPORTANT DATES:

April 1 2021:       Registration for the reunion will open on the website.  You will be able to register and pay online at the Case70.com website OR by mail and check.  To get a paper registration form, print it from the website or call Denise Anastasio at 262-498-2298 to have it mailed to you. http://www.case70.com/

June 15 2021:     Deadline for registration.  Pay online or mail in check.

July 16 2021:     Deadline to reserve hotel rooms under the Class Reunion rates.

August 6 and 7, 2021:     Reunion weekend!

Keep your eyes on your emails for reminders to register starting April 1!

We have reserved a block of rooms at two hotels. Of course, there are other hotel options in town.  If you use either of these hotels, please tell them you are with the Case 1970 Class Reunion.

Rate:  $124 ($140 with taxes) for either one.

Deadline to reserve from the block:  Friday July 16.

Cancellation deadline: Two days before check-in to avoid a charge of one-night’s stay.
