North Beach & Quarry 2020
The beaches in Racine are lovelier than ever! A lot of work has been done, especially at North Beach, which now has a Blue Waves designation and is on several lists of Best Beaches. And the Quarry, which we used to have to sneak into, has been made into a park, with a building (I don't think it's open because of the pandemic, though) and a sand beach (not as nice as North Beach). You're still not supposed to jump off the cliffs although people do. I took some photos of both places at the beginning of July 2020 and thought those of you who are out of town might like to check them out. Also people in town who haven't bothered to check them out lately!
