I remember the first day girls were allowed to wear pants to school. But it had to be a pantsuit, no jeans allowed back then. I think it was 1968 .... ?

I remember my first car - a 1963 VW Bug that my father rebuilt with a kit. It was orange and had a top speed of around 50 mph. Lol My dad was not a very good mechanic!

After graduation I was asked to work in the math department, and stayed for 2 or 3 years, until the first teachers strike. I was layed off (no pay) and then started working at SC Johnson. The best change of career in my life!
