I was married to Eric (formerly Harold) Rasmussen from 1970 to 1979. After we divorced I moved back to Racine. Shortly after, I met Cliff Spear (Horlick class of 1971). We were married in 1983.
Everyone knows Eric (Harold) was a major league baseball player so I moved around the country (St. Pete, FL; Sarasota, FL; Little Rock, Arkansas; Tulsa, OK; St. Louis, MO; San Diego, CA.
Cliff was in the forest products industry which took us to Marshfield, WI; Clarion, PA; and Charleston, SC.
I owned and operated an interior plant business for 38 years in five different cities. I leased and maintained tropical plants for hospitals, office buildings, professional offices, shopping malls, and other locations.
I sold the business and retired in 2018 and bought a log cabin in the mountains of North Carolina to get away from the summer heat in Charleston.
